505 Games Celebrates 20 Years With Bloodstained Sequel and New Co-Op Shooter

To mark two decades of publishing, 505 Games has unveiled a new anniversary trailer spotlighting its upcoming slate, including a brand-new gothic metroidvania and a chaotic four-player co-op cooking shooter. The lineup anchors a celebration that also features a Steam publisher sale running from September 10 to September 24, 2026.

Reflecting on the company’s milestone, Rami Galante, co-founder of 505 Games and joint CEO of parent company Digital Bros, stated that the company's early focus was simply on "building strong partnerships, bringing great games to players, and earning our place in a highly competitive industry." He credited the 20-year milestone to the "resilience, talent, and commitment" of the team.

Since its founding in 2006, the Italian publisher has built a massive, varied catalog of over 200 games across consoles, PC, and mobile. 505 has been a quiet staple, helping bring games like Ghostrunner, DEATH STRANDING on PC, and the legendary Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to screens. Now, they are leaning heavily into that supernatural, retro-futuristic lane for their next chapter.

The anniversary trailer showcases four distinct upcoming titles. First up is Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, a new 2.5D gothic metroidvania action RPG. Nivalis Nights is set to launch on September 29, 2026, while ExeKiller does not have a set release date, with the developer stating they are not announcing a specific date yet.

Then there is Mayhem à la Carte. Mayhem à la Carte is coming to PC via Steam Early Access in 2027, which combines multiple genres in a unique approach where players serve plates while shooting targets with the squad.

A foundation built on simulation and souls

Beyond these four titles, 505 Games is continuing with its established franchises. The publisher highlighted the continued growth of the Assetto Corsa racing series. The publisher confirmed that Assetto Corsa Rally is continuing its development journey to deliver authentic simulation experiences.

Action RPG fans also have a reason to keep watch, as 505 Games confirmed it has acquired the WUCHANG IP. A sequel to the Soulslike is officially on the way, adding another dark fantasy title to the publisher's upcoming roster.

As fellow joint CEO and co-founder Raffi Galante noted, the industry has changed dramatically over two decades, shifting toward digital distribution and ongoing player engagement. "What has remained constant," Galante said, "is our focus on delivering great games and connecting them with the players who love them."
