Steam and the Nintendo Store have launched deep discounts on several major publisher titles, dropping Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and the Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak bundle to $9.99 each. For games that used to demand a full premium budget, the new price tags are roughly equivalent to a fast-food lunch.
According to listing data on Steam and the Nintendo Store, Square Enix has cut Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade by 75%, while Capcom's Monster Hunter bundle is marked down by 83%. Adding to the digital markdowns, THQ Nordic has cut the Destroy All Humans! remake by 90% on Steam, bringing its price down to $2.99. Normally, gathering this much game time for under thirty dollars requires waiting out console generations or digging through thrift store bins. Instead, publishers are offering the digital licenses directly, bypassing the usual slow decline of aging premium titles.
The details
The price cuts represent some of the steepest discounts these specific editions have seen on their respective platforms. Whether you want to swing a giant sword in Midgar, hunt beasts on a portable screen, or vaporize mid-century humans, the entry fee is currently lower than a standard streaming subscription.
