Finish the story, find a talking glove, then fight every boss again without the walk in between.

Crunching Koalas has brought Fountains' Gauntlet mode to Xbox, a free update that chains all ten of the action-RPG's main bosses into one back-to-back run. The mode came to PC first and only unlocks after the campaign's credits roll.
To get in, finish the story and talk to the Gauntlet Keeper, a new NPC who is, quite literally, an animated medieval gauntlet. Rest stops after the third, sixth and ninth fights let players swap loadouts and refill flasks, and any consumables spent during a run are restored when it ends. Owners of the Shattered Shape expansion can pick a variant that adds its bosses to the lineup.
Bartosz Wnuk, marketing manager at Crunching Koalas, called it "the ultimate proving ground for warriors who crave a real challenge."
The update arrives with a publisher sale on Xbox. Fountains: Extended Edition, which bundles the base game with Shattered Shape, is 20% off, while Heading Out, Kamikaze Lassplanes and Once Upon a Jester are 50% off.
The details
The flasks refill after every run. The pride does not.
