Individual classic Hitman games are discounted by 90%, with prices starting at just $0.79.
Get it on GOG →GOG has slashed the prices of five classic Hitman games by 90%, according to active store listings on the digital retailer. The sale drops the price of almost every early entry in Agent 47's career to under a dollar, offering a historically cheap entry point into the franchise's stealth foundations.
At these prices, assembling a library of high-society murder simulators costs less than a vending machine soda. For players who missed the series' transition from raw, punishing puzzle-boxes to polished modern playgrounds, the barrier to entry is now essentially nonexistent.
The markdown covers the first decade of developer IO Interactive's signature stealth series, spanning from the turn of the millennium to the early 2010s. The original 2000 release, Hitman: Codename 47, is currently listed for $0.79. Its sequels, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and Hitman: Contracts, are priced at $0.89 each. The 2006 entry Hitman: Blood Money is available for $0.99, while the more cinematic Hitman: Absolution rounds out the group at $1.99.
The details
Classic games often suffer from compatibility issues on modern operating systems, but GOG's versions are packaged to run on modern rigs without requiring a computer science degree to launch. Whether players are looking to revisit the tense corridors of the Budapest hotel or experience the clockwork tragedy of the opera house for the first time, the storefront is offering a decade of stealth history for the price of a single morning coffee.
It turns out the world's most dangerous assassin is remarkably cheap to hire if you catch him during the off-season.
