For the racing crowd, F1 25 (PS5) offers single-player career modes alongside a multiplayer mode where friends can race against AI. Those preferring swampy horrors can boot up Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5), an extraction shooter about tracking down bosses, extracting their bounties, and fighting off rival players who would rather let you do the hard work before taking the spoils. Finally, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5, PS4) brings voxel-art bug-squashing to the table, allowing four-player online co-op as players collect and assemble squads from mainline and spin-off EDF entries.
