What it means for the meta

This update focuses heavily on visual and audio authenticity, restoring iconic nostalgia while polishing lingering presentation bugs.

WWE 2K26 has rolled out Update 1.19 to bring Danhausen's voice, classic Team Xtreme entrances, and MyFaction persona updates to the virtual ring. It is a patch designed to ensure your digital wrestlers look, sound, and behave exactly like their real-life counterparts—even when those counterparts are highly eccentric.

According to the official patch notes, the headlining addition is the integration of Danhausen's unique voice lines, allowing players to hear him actively curse opponents during gameplay. Visual updates are also prominent; the development team added classic 2000-era entrances for Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, and Lita. This includes solo, tag, and trio configurations, fixing a previous bug where only a single superstar would show up in the Create an Entrance editor.

MyFaction players receive a Shawn Michaels persona in his teal-blue SummerSlam 1995 gear, according to the studio, alongside a tattoo correction for the Randy Orton 2005 persona. Meanwhile, The Island mode gets new shop items and a fix for a bug that made MyPLAYERs entirely disappear during post-match cutscenes—a career-ending move by any metric.

The details

  • Entrances: Team Xtreme '00 (Matt, Jeff, Lita) tag and trio entrances added
  • Audio: Danhausen gameplay voice acting and jukebox spelling fixes
  • MyFaction: Shawn Michaels '95 and updated Randy Orton '05 personas added
  • The Island: New shop items and cutscene animation fixes
  • Misc: Mattel Goldberg persona added via retail locker code promo

At least now, if your wrestler vanishes into thin air, they'll have to do it without the classic Hardy Boyz theme playing in the background.
