Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in Autumn 2026, developers Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company confirmed. It seems fighting off swarms of acid-blooded xenomorphs on the go is officially back on the itinerary, provided you don't mind a slightly delayed deployment.

The co-op shooter is scheduled to launch on other major platforms slightly earlier on August 25, 2026, according to the developers. While other platforms get a late-summer start, Nintendo's upcoming console will receive its version a few months later as the autumn chill sets in. It is not the first high-profile title lined up for the system, following previous leaks of other heavy hitters like Diablo 4 on the Switch 2.
