Gameloft's next Disney Dreamlight Valley expansion, The Keepsake Sea, launches November 18 for $29.99, adding a Merfolk form, customizable pirate ships and three new island biomes. A $49.99 Deluxe Edition adds Flounder and Sebastian as extra Adventure Companions, a Merfolk Mansion house style and more Moonstones, per Outputlag.
Gameloft detailed the expansion in a nearly 30-minute showcase, Pocket Gamer reports. The Merfolk form lets players swim on the surface or dive into underwater areas, with its own customization, while the pirate ship can be customized and crewed by villagers on treasure hunts. The new biomes are Shipwreck Shores, Candy Cove and the Kingdom of Oublié, according to Pixelkin.
New residents include Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook and Wendy, Megara and Atlantis' Milo Thatch, and Finding Nemo's Dory becomes the first Adventure Companion, guiding players underwater. A cozy life sim with Jack Sparrow in it is a sentence that now has a release date.
The details
- Release: November 18, 2026
- Price: $29.99; Deluxe $49.99; Keepsake Sea Edition with the base game $59.99
- Biomes: Shipwreck Shores, Candy Cove, Kingdom of Oublié, plus underwater areas
- Characters: Jack Sparrow, Captain Hook, Wendy, Megara, Milo Thatch; Dory as Adventure Companion
- Platforms: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Switch 2, Mac and Apple Arcade
What else is coming?
A free update in December adds Lilo and a holiday-themed Star Path, which Pocket Gamer refers to as Ohana Holidays. The showcase also teased 2027: two princes in early 2027, a villainous duo in spring and the balloon house from Pixar's Up with a dog Companion in summer, though Gameloft hasn't named the characters.
Three older editions, the Ultimate Edition 2025, Wishblossom Ranch Edition and Honeyglow Woods Edition, leave stores on November 18 and are discounted by 30% to 40% until then. The Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack was the game's Winnie the Pooh update in July.
The valley spent three years on dry land. It now has a coastline, a navy and a pirate who's going to want a house.
