Persona 4 Revival: ATLUS Reveals New Social Link Character Aika Nakamura

ATLUS officially pulled back the curtain on new content for Persona 4 Revival during its weekend broadcast, giving us our first look at an entirely new Social Link character and fresh story elements designed to expand the town of Inaba.

During the official Persona 4 Revival Broadcast on Saturday, the studio revealed that players will find more to discover in Inaba than ever before. The presentation focused heavily on the daily lives of the protagonist's inner circle, diving deeper into returning characters Nanako Dojima, Ryotaro Dojima, and Tohru Adachi.

Who is Aika Nakamura?

The biggest surprise of the stream was the reveal of Aika Nakamura, a brand-new Social Link character coming to the game. Aika is the charming face of Aiya, the Chinese restaurant located in Inaba's shopping district.

Described as having a naturally easygoing personality, she single-handedly handles all of the restaurant's delivery orders. She also shares a history with the town, having been close friends with Hanako Ohtani since childhood.

What else is new in Inaba?

Beyond individual relationships, the remake is shifting how players interact with the town itself. ATLUS introduced "Location Episodes," a new gameplay element designed to help players get to know the characters even further. These episodes will also allow players to learn about what Inaba was like in the olden days.

To close out the presentation, sound composer Ryota Kozuka from the ATLUS Sound Team shared a special message and unveiled "A Sky Full of Stars -Revival-," a new track performed by Shiori Sasaki to showcase the remake's updated audio.

The remake brings brand-new narrative layers to the classic supernatural mystery.
