Stellar Blade: Complete Edition is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, developer Shift Up announced during yesterday's Nintendo Direct. The former PlayStation 5 exclusive is making the jump to Nintendo's next platform with a physical option that, in a rare modern twist, actually includes the entire game on the cartridge.
The digital version is available for pre-order on the Switch eShop for $59.99 (£54.99). For collectors who prefer their physical media to actually contain media rather than a download voucher, a physical steelbook edition is up for pre-order via Panax for $69.99 (£69.99). Shift Up confirmed that all pre-orders come with bonus cosmetic items for the protagonist, EVE.
The port was revealed alongside news of other upcoming titles for the platform, such as Kirby and the World Beyond. EVE’s Switch 2 debut will also feature a crossover with another high-fashion action icon, adding four cosmetic suits inspired by Bayonetta. The studio showed off three of these designs—based on Bayonetta, Jeanne, and a nun—while keeping the fourth design a secret for now.
The details
With November 5 shaping up to be a busy day for Nintendo fans, players won't have to wait long to see how the technical showcase translates to portable hardware. At the very least, you won't need a high-speed internet connection just to read the data off the plastic.
