A new selection of games is scheduled to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Game Pass between September 7 and September 11, 2026, according to Xbox Wire Editor Will Fulton. The list features a variety of titles, including those involving genetic lineage management and public transit schedules.
The upcoming roster begins its arrivals on September 8, with all scheduled release dates remaining subject to change, the outlet noted.
The details
For players looking for competitive action, Halloween: The Game launches on September 8. Co-published by IllFonic and Gun Media, the asymmetrical horror sandbox allows players to take on the role of Michael Myers or defend the town of Haddonfield. The same day brings Nicalis Inc.'s Mewgenics, a turn-based tactical roguelike focused on cat breeding and genetics from the creators of The Binding of Isaac.
Milestone S.r.l.'s HOT WHEELS Infinite Rush is scheduled to launch on September 9, tasking players with exploring four distinct islands to defeat local "Rush Masters" and claim their vehicles. Simulation fans also receive two distinct entries: astragon Entertainment's Bus Simulator 27 arrives on September 8 with over 45 licensed vehicles, followed by Dovetail Games' Train Sim World 7: Deluxe Edition on September 15, which features routes in Yorkshire and Bavaria.
The lineup also marks the Western debut of a cult classic. Culdcept The First Saturn Tribute launches on September 8, bringing the 1997 digital board game and deck builder out of Japan for the first time. On the indie front, Yogscast Games' card-battler The Royal Writ hits Game Pass on September 10, featuring a high-stakes mechanic where cards that reach the enemy base are permanently removed from the player's deck for the rest of the run.
Rounding out the week is EA SPORTS NHL 27 on September 11, which introduces revamped pregame introductions and real-world goal songs for all 32 NHL arenas, alongside Afil Games' physics puzzle-platformer Hole in Many on September 8.
