Ubisoft says New Game Plus is coming to Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced next week, confirming the mode on the official Assassin's Creed account on X on October 22. It hasn't announced an exact date or said what carries over into a new run. The remake has been out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC since July 9.
"New Game+ is coming to Black Flag Resynced next week!" the account posted, thanking players for their patience alongside a GIF of Edward Kenway raising a glass, Gatsby-style, per Insider Gaming. The GIF carries about as much detail as the announcement.
Game director Richard Knight said shortly after launch that the team was already working on New Game Plus, building on Assassin's Creed Shadows' version of the mode while noting the two wouldn't be identical, GosuGamers reported. So whether gear and levels transfer the way they do in Shadows is still unconfirmed. The mode follows earlier post-launch fixes, including update 1.04 and a patch adding a blowpipe-hiding toggle. Insider Gaming also points to an October video of cut content that it says may hint at an expansion.
