For players looking at their available console storage, the upcoming week offers a varied test of bandwidth. Leading the charge on October 6 is Gears of War: E-Day, priced at $69.99 and arriving on Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere. The prequel takes players back fourteen years before the original game, following Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during the initial Locust emergence. Preparing your console might require some Gears of War: E-Day storage cleanups beforehand.
On the same day, Secret Mode's Star Wars: Galactic Racer will launch for $59.99, offering high-stakes, runs-based racing in the lawless Outer Rim. Square Enix will release the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] on October 6, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Play Anywhere. The $74.99 bundle collects three major releases plus the Re Mind DLC, repackaging years of crossover history into a single purchase.
The middle of the week shifts toward quieter, stranger mysteries. On October 7, Hidden Dogs will launch; its price is not yet announced, but it tasks players with finding over 500 hand-drawn pups in the English countryside. Also launching on October 7 is Titanic Escape Simulator, where players investigate a suspicious death aboard the doomed vessel before disaster strikes. Like Hidden Dogs, its price is not yet announced, though it will feature Xbox Play Anywhere support. Meanwhile, JanduSoft will launch Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire on October 7, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Play Anywhere, a $19.99 (currently discounted to $15.99) action-farming roguelite about Dracula's rebellious son.
October 8 brings a dual serving of sci-fi action and gothic horror. Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will launch for $39.99, putting players in control of Aidan as he navigates the Labyrinth using the Genesis Configuration puzzle box. For those seeking loop-based puzzles, Akupara Games' Metroidvania Echo Weaver arrives on Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere for $19.99.
Additionally, Kepler Interactive's Neon Abyss 2 will launch on October 8, 2026, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass, ramping up the pixelated roguelike combat of its predecessor. Finally, DANGEN Entertainment's Deck of Haunts will launch on October 8, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One at an MSRP of $19.99.
The sheer variety of this weekly slate highlights Microsoft's ongoing strategy of blending big-budget first-party blockbusters with niche, experimental indie games. By feeding both Game Pass and direct-purchase storefronts simultaneously, the lineup aims to keep players engaged, whether they want to fight off the Locust Horde or find hundreds of hidden puppies.
