Planet of the Deals: PS Store Sale Hits GTA V, RE4, Silent Hill 2

Sony's Planet of the Deals promotion is live on PlayStation Store, discounting hundreds of PS5 and PS4 games until Wednesday, November 4 at 11:59 PM PDT. The two-week sale started October 21 and runs alphabetically from 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim to Zombie Army 4: Dead War, with prices set by region.

"Embark on a new adventure with PlayStation Store's latest promotion, Planet of the Deals, which is live now," Promotions Delivery Manager Peter Boda wrote on the PlayStation Blog. The post lists several hundred games and zero discount percentages, so the actual savings only reveal themselves once you open your local store.

Two of the biggest names come with a second clock. Grand Theft Auto V and the Red Dead Redemption & Red Dead Redemption 2 bundle are both in the sale, and GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 are leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on November 17. The sale ends 13 days before they do.

Cyberpunk 2077 is discounted the same week CD Projekt Red rolled out Update 2.5, which added dual-wielding and cyberware customization nearly six years after launch. Other headliners include Resident Evil 4, Hogwarts Legacy: Digital Deluxe Edition, SILENT HILL 2 Deluxe Edition, Alien: Isolation – The Collection, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Age of Mythology: Retold and Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition.

It's a crowded week for storefront sales. Nintendo's Screaming Deals is running on the eShop through October 31, so Halloween has now been claimed by at least two platform holders.
