TL;DR — what matters
• New telekinetic duelist Hush joins the roster
• Warden rifle recoil and accuracy buffs
• Clove nerfed; Haste and Snapshot HUD terms standardized
Hush Agent Arrival — Telekinetic duelist: Displacement pull, Flashbulb, Flow anchor levitation, Suspension ultimate, and a telekinesis passive that grabs weapons and the Spike at range
Warden Recoil & Accuracy — Smoothed pitch recoil; second-bullet error reduced from 0.25 to 0.2, third-bullet from 0.6 to 0.5
Clove — Pick-me-up bonus move speed down from 15% to 10%; killing Clove after Not Dead Yet grants the killer an ult point and signature refresh
HUD Buff Terminology — Standardized Haste and Snapshot status labels across Brimstone, Clove, Neon, Miks, and Cypher abilities
What it means for the meta
Hush brings fresh crowd control to the duelist pool, while Warden handling tweaks make the 2,900-credit rifle more controllable and Clove loses some tempo.
Riot Games released Valorant Patch 13.09 on October 27, officially adding telekinetic duelist Hush to the roster while buffing the Warden rifle and nerfing Clove, per the official patch notes. Adding another mobility-focused fragger is one way to keep matches lively, assuming players enjoy being pulled across the map against their will.
Hush's kit is built around telekinesis: a passive that picks up weapons, switches, and the Spike at extended range, plus Displacement (a pull that concusses anyone slammed into a surface, resetting every two kills), Flashbulb, Flow (an anchor she can levitate toward mid-air), and her Suspension ultimate, a steerable projectile that levitates everyone in its blast.
Alongside her arrival, Riot tuned the 2,900-credit Warden: pitch recoil is smoothed over the first few bullets, second-bullet error drops from 0.25 to 0.2, and third-bullet error from 0.6 to 0.5. Clove pays for the party — Pick-me-up's bonus move speed falls from 15% to 10%, and killing Clove after Not Dead Yet now hands the killer an ultimate point and a signature refresh.
The update also standardizes status terms across the roster, with formal HUD labels for "Haste" movement buffs — now displayed by Brimstone, Clove, Neon, and Miks — and "Snapshot" for Cypher's still-image reveals.
The details
One wrinkle for the stat-watchers: Hush is the first agent added since Performance Score launched, and Riot says her early scores may be unstable while it tunes how her utility is judged. The telekinesis, presumably, works fine.
